PERFECT SOFT-BOILED EGGS
Boiling the eggs.
The trick for perfect soft-boiled eggs is to add them to a pot of rapidly boiling water, but you only should have about 1/2-inch of water in the pot.
After the eggs boil for exactly 6 1/2 minutes, immediately rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking.
Cooling the eggs.
These eggs require a gentle hand to peel. Start with the fat end of the egg and try to slowly work down the egg, removing the shell as you go. Give the egg a rinse when you're done!
