The Internet Kitchen: Stern Interviews

The Internet Kitchen: Stern Interviews

Jump to Recipe

I almost always have some sort of white noise on during the day while I’m working. Typically, it’s NPR but lately I’ve been listening to Howard Stern interviews during the day. They are almost all on YouTube and while they are definitely not family friendly, I think they are amazing.

A friend tipped me off to them and I can’t get enough of them. Are they dirty? Yes. But you can tell that he honestly loves his job and researches the people he is interviewing to a greater degree than most inverviewers.

You can find a huge list of recent interviews he’s done if you search on youtube.

Salmon Tacos – I worked on a salmon taco recipe for my cookbook (that I just handed in -woot) and it ended up way better than I thought it was going to be honestly. So this version caught my eye. (@ Food Loves Writing)

Grilled Branzino – This is a dish I’ve only had in restaurants which makes me want to make it real bad. It’s a great dish and I imagine that most restaurants are way over-charging for it. (@ Ruhlman)

Golden Beet and Burrata Salad – I want this every day this summer. I really do. It looks fresh and colorful and who doesn’t like fresh mozzarella? (@ Bitten Word)

Arugula Caprese Salad – See my above comment. Not only are the photos beautiful but I feel like I could eat this for the next three months. (@ Sprouted Kitchen)

  1. Stern is the best interviewer out there! Check out the Jim Bruer interviews, he has these hilarious stories about Metallica

  2. My husband and I have been big Stern fans for years now, and even have Howard TV. He had Jerry Seinfeld in this week and it was like my life had come full circle.

  3. 112 today in Tucson and 113 tomorrow. I feel sorry for Phoenix. They’ve been talking 120…yow! Something cold is indeed in order.
