Thankful

Jump to Recipe

I don’t think I need to pile on with paragraphs of words on how hard 2020 has been.

WE ALL GET IT.

But, I hope that all of you can also find something to be thankful for over the next few days.

For me, I’m thankful that we were finally able to move back into our house after more than a year of remodels (longer post coming soon on that).

I’m thankful that my family is healthy and we’ve avoided the most severe impacts of the pandemic.

I’m thankful that our fridge is full of good food to eat (and I wish to share with others).

I’m thankful that our two kids have been adaptive and (mostly) flexible during this weird and wild year.

And I’m thankful for you lovely readers. Running this little corner of the Internet has been an incredible experience for me. I’m SO thankful for it every single day.

Eat all the turkey. Give all the hugs. I’ll be back next week with some new recipes!

Photo by the wonderful Liana Kim Photography who always manages to capture us looking put together.

  1. Thankful for your awesome dry brined and spatchcocked turkey recipes (minus the harissa). Huge hit! Drive-by Thanksgiving this year – dropping off and picking up food from loved one’s porches. And very thankful everyone is safe and well. Best to you and your family.
