This easy breakfast spread is savory and rich. Made with flaked smoked trout and a few other simple ingredients, it’s perfect on bagels and toast topped with a few crunchy veggies!
4 ounces cream cheese, soft
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon capers
2 scallions, minced
4 ounces smoked trout, flaked
English muffins or bagels
Fresh cucumber, sliced
Fresh radish, sliced
- In a small bowl, mash together cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, capers, scallions, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- Fold in flaked smoked trout. Try to keep it in chunks.
- Serve spread on toasted English Muffins or bagels with sliced radish and cucumber.
- Leftover spread will keep fine in the fridge for up to a week.
