This easy breakfast spread is savory and rich. Made with flaked smoked trout and a few other simple ingredients, it’s perfect on bagels and toast topped with a few crunchy veggies!

Ingredients

4 ounces cream cheese, soft
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon capers
2 scallions, minced
4 ounces smoked trout, flaked
English muffins or bagels
Fresh cucumber, sliced
Fresh radish, sliced

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mash together cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, capers, scallions, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  2. Fold in flaked smoked trout. Try to keep it in chunks.
  3. Serve spread on toasted English Muffins or bagels with sliced radish and cucumber.
  4. Leftover spread will keep fine in the fridge for up to a week.
