The Internet Kitchen: Breck-Bound
After my two knee surgeries over the last two years, I haven’t had a chance to ski or snowboard much.
My knee is feeling the best it has felt in years though so Betsy and I are heading into the mountains this weekend for a ski day. I’m actually going to snowboard because I think it’ll be a little easier on the joints, plus I’m a better snowboarder than skier.
Worst case scenario, I’ll make it down a few runs and then spend the day drinking bloody marys and watching basketball.
Either way it’s shaping up to be a good weekend!

Savory Oatmeal is a Thing – I’ve never actually tried this but I imagine that it’s very similar to one of my favorite savory breakfasts, congee. I can’t picture this being anything but delicious. (@ Amateur Gourmet)
