Baby Pool!

Baby Pool!

Jump to Recipe

I thought it might be fun to do a blog baby pool for our soon-to-be new addition.

It’s totally for fun, but if you want to play along I’ll try to send the winner something! Maybe a cookbook?

If you want to fill out the below form to enter, here are few tips:

– The actual due date is January 6th, 2015, but baby is considered full term already so any day is a good day.

– We don’t know the sex, but 90% of people who implement all the old wive’s tales available think Betsy is having a boy.

– The last time Betsy had an ultrasound (2 weeks ago), the baby had an estimated weight of 5 pounds 4 ounces (with a margin of error of a full pound). Babies born in Colorado tend to be underweight on average.

If the form doesn’t load for you below, you can also fill it out here!

Good luck!

Good luck!

The Links

Lots of holiday links floating around the Internet this week!

31 Days of Pie – Food Photography expert and generally nice guy, Matt Armendariz, is showing off 31 days of beautiful pies on his blog. Some are his and some are from other bloggers. Definitely a good read though if you’re in a pie mood! (@ Matt Bites)

How to Make 300 Latkes – I’ve ended up in a few sticky catering situations over the years. Making lots of fried stuff is very hard though. This is ambitious! (@ The Amateur Gourmet)

Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies – I love good gingerbread this time of year and nothing makes the kitchen smell better than fresh baked. Get these in the oven! (@ The Kitchn)

20 Secret Santa Snacks – This is an awesome list of delicious looking holiday snacks. None of them are terribly hard to make and would be great for a holiday party or just to have around to snack on! (@ Tablespoon)

Have a great weekend everybody!

  1. Actually, though, I hope for a birth date of 1 second after midnight, January 1st, so you guys will get a bunch of free goodies! For the child’s sake, I hope they aren’t born on Christmas day, so that they may receive both Christmas AND birthday gifts for the rest of their lives!
