I’m currently chilling in Atlantic City for a double bachelor party. Actually, if you’re reading this on Friday, then I’m hopefully playing in a poker tourney right now.
Most of you might not know this, but poker is one of my side hobbies away from cooking, blogging, and playing with my cat. I think, mentally, it’s one of the more challenging games and I love the opportunity to test my wits against other smart (or drunk) players.
So that’s what I’m up to this weekend!
A lot of you emailed me or commented that you wanted some soup recipes after my soup rant on Tuesday.
Happy to oblige. The question is, of course, what kind? These are the three that people emailed/commented for me to make.

Salted Caramel Brownies – Salted caramel is one of my top five flavors of all time. I’m not a huge sweets guy really so the salt helps me out a lot. I would bet these brownies are out of this world. (@ Brown Eyed Baker)

Mark’s Bloody Mary Mix – I don’t know Mark, but I like the looks of this bloody mix. My only change is that I’d probably double the amount of horseradish in it because I’m crazy like that. (@ Savory Reviews)
