Adult Boozy Pumpkin Milkshake
You are just a few ingredients away from one of my favorite fall upgrades to the homemade milkshake: Adult (Boozy) Pumpkin Milkshakes!
Because let’s face it, if you aren’t adding a little shot of something to your milkshake, you’re doing it wrong.
But, even if you left out the booze, this pumpkin milkshake recipe is still delicious and your kids will very much love it. You could jazz it up with other spices like nutmeg, vanilla, or allspice, but it’s great with just the basics!
- Add ingredients except cinnamon and whipped cream to a blender cup. Blend until smooth!
- Transfer milkshake to cups and garnish with whipped cream and ground cinnamon. Serve immediately!
The Booze to Use for Pumpkin Milkshakes
I thought about going cinnamon whiskey but thought that would overpower the sweetness of the milkshake.
This Cinnamon Cream liquor is the answer though. It’s a perfect complement to the pumpkin flavors and isn’t too boozy.
My one quick tip for making milkshakes is to actually use an immersion blender instead of a full-on blender. Easier cleanup.
However you blend it up, blend it up and your milkshake is basically done.
Top as you like, but for me I like a lot of whipped cream and some ground cinnamon on top!
This would be the perfect thing to serve for guests for a fall party. Make boozy versions for the adults and non-alcoholic versions for the kiddos. Pumpkin Pie Milkshakes FTW!
