So I’m dying to make the cheese log this weekend, but my (apparently insane) boyfriend doesn’t like blue cheese. Any recommendations on the other cheeses you think might work here?

RU feelin' the love!? There is no way in you-know-what I'd ever attempt those worms, but the idea is very clever – I was just telling a friend about that post yesterday. She and her husband are having a bunch of people (w/their kids) over on Sat. afternoon, and I might just have to make that putrefied log. They are very into Halloween so it'd be perfect & festive (unlike the quiche I'm bringing, although it'll have spinach, so it'll be somewhat green, too)!

I've been reading your blog for a while and enjoy every post–including the more time-consuming/crafty recipes. In fact, it's one of the very few food blogs that's held my attention for more than a month. I thought the gummy worms were a great idea! Sure, maybe not something I could throw together after work, but a fun way to spend a Saturday. Keep it up-your posts are brilliant.
