Wow Nick, just wow. I have been fantasizing over these for a couple of weeks now and just made them this morning. Instead of using cherries though, i just used chocolate chips and spread some peanut butter on them after they came out of the pan. I completely understand now what you were saying about rich. I ate approx. 2/3rds of mine before having to stop. I even did the fresh whipped cream and it is better than anything store bought. You've ruined instant pancakes as well as instant whipped cream and i can say that I've never been happier over having something ruined for me. I'm a complete convert now to homemade pancakes and whipped cream! Can't wait to see what goodness you bring next!

I'm not usually a fan of sweets, but something about this recipe really jumped out at me, so I made them tonight for my roommate and my boyfriend. My roommate asked me to marry her and my boyfriend wants me to make them for his parents. I'll count that as a success. I'd never made homemade whipped cream before, and I gotta say, that was definitely the kicker! Took a bit longer than a minute, but it definitely came together eventually and everyone was more than impressed... including me. Thanks a bunch!

I've now made these three or four times, once for a crowd of hungry and hungover friends at camp. Each time they have been a huge hit!

My husband and I made these this past Saturday (we always have cherries on hand when in the stores in Canada) and, as you said they were, total AWESOMENESS!!!!

Thanks, Nick. I read your whole recipe through daily, just to chuckle at your comments. I usually print them as well and make a grocery list. Love them.
