I've been working on a homemade mustard recipe for a couple weeks now and found this place because I wanted to know how to make it thicker. I would have never thought to using flour to add some thickness to the final mixture.

I'm going to add a little to my bottle right now and see how it works for tomorrow's lunch.

Thanks for the tip

I think I will try to make the red mustard and use my yellow tomatos to make ketchup. my friends will be amazed at the flip flop of colors.

I love mustard, and I too would have never thought to make it. But why not? You make it look so simple. Great recipes, and great ideas!

Awesome! I don't know why, but I've never considered making my own mustard. Even if I did, I wouldn't have known where to start. Thanks for the fabulous instructions and photos!
